It is often difficult to understand why we are distressed, unhappy or not coping and CBT can help us to understand our problems. The main focus being on learning how to more effectively manage our thoughts, behaviours and feelings and look for practical solutions to help us move forward. Sometimes, through no fault of our own we often get stuck in vicious cycles. Exploring your thoughts and feelings in relation to difficulties you might be experiencing will help you to develop insight and understanding about yourself, your relationships and your life events.

About Me

I am an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who provides a collaborative, supportive, non-judgmental and compassionate environment where you can discuss challenges, issues or concerns that are important to you.

Working together, you will be provided with new skills and strategies to help you make positive and lasting change in your life.

My main approach is cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with elements of other approaches incorporated to suit your needs.  CBT is a talking therapy and is recommended by the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) to help treat anxiety, depression, phobias and other emotional, mental and physical health issues.
